Amazon Finds to Good Not to Share
People are always shocked when I say I found these on Amazon...
Like any good editor, I was trained to shop a mix of high-low and like any midwestern gal, I love a good sale find. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is to find things I love (usually expensive items) for less. When I started in magazine publishing at Vanity Fair, I was expected to dress the part, but I was being paid peanuts (it is actually insane how little they got away with paying people back then — you probably wouldn’t believe me), so I got really good at figuring out how to dress expensive for very little, whether it was finding designer items on eBay, great Amazon dupes, or H&M and Zara finds that looked much more $$$ than they were. I try to take this to my blog and Instagram when I can and one of my favorite ways is by sharing some good Amazon finds. I appreciate how easy they make returns tbh because you just don’t know how items will be in real life, ya know? I also find that the fast fashion brands (other than Zara and Mango if they count) haven’t been as strong recently (though H&M is currently having a good run) so I have leaned more into the Amazon finds. It could also be that I’m always on there buying diapers or wipes or toilet paper and tend to get sidetracked. Whatever the case, here are my favorite Amazon finds as of late.
Every closet organizer will tell you to order these hangers. They will protect your clothes, keep their shape, save space, and make your closet look nicer.
I’m so sick of stepping on Legos. Is there anything that hurts worse? Maybe a toy car. Yes, definitely a toy car. But I digress. I wish I had seen this in time for Christmas. It’s a toy they’ll love because it’s cool and fun but really it’s a gift for you. They’ll actually clean up their Lego’s with this Lego vaccuum.
Also wish we had seen this before Christmas. My kids would love to chase each other around the house in it. Although I’m sure my walls are grateful I’m just keeping it in my cart for the next birthday.
In my attempt not to junk up our home or anyone else’s, I’ve been looking for cute class Valentine’s that aren’t just clutter. I thought these paints sets were really cute and bonus a way to entertain kids for a bit. You could give a card that needs to be painted to make it even cuter.
It ain’t pretty, but a chopped salad just tastes better. I’m trying to make more salads at home (should I share my recipes?) and this has been a game-changer in getting a Chop’d-like salad without spending $30 every day.

These sunnies are the best $13 you’ll spend.
We have a play kitchen from an older cousin, but it’s brown and not that cute and currently lives in the playroom. I was thinking about getting this more aesthetically pleasing one for our family room so the kids could “cook” while I cook. The scallops are just too cute.
I’m attempting to get our entire house organized and this sheet organizer was a huge help. I always get the sheets between our bedroom and the guest bedroom confused and I feel like our linen closet is a disaster. It’s the small changes that actually make you feel more in control.
This book is next on my reading list. I love everything she says/shares. And I think this will be life-changing for me.
My viral tennis dress is on sale. I wear from courts and then all day because it’s so cute. I always get compliments on it and it comes in multiple colors.
Hi! The book isn’t the correct link, can you repost the right one?
