May is such an interesting month. It wraps up spring and ushers in summer with Memorial Day (Memorial Day to Labor Day is summer in my book, official calendar be damned) and while it has its share of rainy, cold days here on the East Coast, we also get glimmers of summer and the opportunity to finally wear our spring dresses and shoes while also getting some wear out of the spring jackets and sweaters. It’s one of my fave months and honestly, underrated in my opinion. It’s like the lead up to a big event — arguably the most fun is often getting ready, right? And it’s the lead up to summer, which is what I look forward to all year (next to Christmas). I’m finding myself doing some shopping to prep for Memorial Day, some May events I have coming up as well as summer, which feels like just minutes away. Here’s everything in my cart right now.
This dress is at the top of my spring/summer list. It’s shorter but not too short, which is the hemline I’m rolling with these days and the print couldn’t be prettier.
I also really want this set - the top and bottoms are so good together and apart (with white jeans or top).
